What to Expect

- Space to park your car around the Church Hall
- A warm welcome at the door
- Stewards to show you where to go should you be unsure
- People dress as they feel comfortable
- People can sit wherever they wish
- The service will last 1 hour
- Everything that will happen during the service will be displayed on the screens either side of the pulpit
- In the early part of the service, the children will be invited to the front where our Minister will give the children’s address
- A children’s hymn will follow this talk, after which children go out to our Children’s Church programme across in the Church Hall. The leaders in charge will take them across the road. Of course, if you are a visitor, you may wish to come across and make sure your child settles OK. There is also a crèche facility in the Church Hall should you wish to use this as well
- Usually about half way through the service, a collection will be lifted for the ongoing work of our Church.
- There is no obligation to contribute to this
- The sermon will last approximately 20 minutes
- The service will end when our Minister pronounces the Benediction Prayer
Other things to help
- There is level access to our building from car to the pew
- There is a disabled toilet in the Welcome Area before you enter the main Sanctuary
- There is a loop system operating in the Church building to assist those with hearing difficulties. Please just switch to “T”
- There are spaces for wheelchairs in the Church Building, one located near the back on the right hand side, and the other up at the front on the left hand side
- The services are recorded on DVD and distributed to those who are unable to attend. However, should you wish to have a copy, please just ask someone on the door or our Minister and this can be arranged.
